What RushAudit is
RushAudit, published at rushaudit.com, is an independent editorial site about free-to-play mobile games. Everything on it is information and opinion: the scores, the write-ups and the notes describe what our editors found when they installed and played a title.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
Editorial opinion, not advice
A RushAudit score is the considered opinion of the editors who ran the routine described on the main page. Another player, on another handset, with another taste in puzzle games, may reach a different conclusion, and that is fine.
Ratings, the number of ratings and player quotes are reproduced from the Google Play listing of each title on the day of the check. Store listings change constantly - figures can move, games can be updated, and a title can be removed from the store entirely. Always check the current listing before you install anything.
Advertising disclosure
The catalogue on RushAudit is free to read. No account is required for it and no charge applies to the reviews, ratings, screenshots and player quotes published on the site. Plus, described in the next section, is a separate optional membership and does not restrict anything that is published free today.
The site is supported by advertising and by Plus memberships. Some placements in the catalogue are promoted commercially, and some outbound links to Google Play are advertising links which may be tracked by an advertising partner.
A commercial arrangement can affect whether and where a title appears on the page. It never affects the score, the wording of a write-up, the store figures we quote or the decision to publish a criticism. No studio, network or partner reads a write-up before publication, and a published score is never revised at a partner's request. The number of Plus members has no effect on any of this either.
The titles listed here are free to download from Google Play and are published by studios that have no connection to RushAudit Plus. A Plus membership is our own editorial product and gives no advantage inside any game.
Plus membership
Plus is an optional paid membership offered by RushAudit. It adds extended write-ups with detailed notes on mechanics, pace and difficulty, early access to new write-ups, a weekly e-mail digest from the editors, and the archive of past issues. The catalogue, the ratings and the player quotes on the main page remain free to read whether or not you hold a membership.
Rates
A Plus membership is A$4.90 per month, or A$39 per year billed once for a twelve-month period. Rates include GST where it applies. If a rate changes, current members are told by e-mail before the change takes effect and may cancel before it applies to them.
Seats and when billing starts
Plus seats are opened in stages. Joining the list through the form on the main page is a request, not a purchase: it places your address on the waiting list and nothing is billed at that point. We confirm your seat by e-mail, and billing begins only after you have confirmed that seat and completed the checkout step with our payment provider. If a seat is never offered to you, nothing is ever billed.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time, without notice and without giving a reason, using the link in any digest or by writing to the editorial desk. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period already paid for and is not cut short. Deleting your subscription record on request has the same effect.
Payments
Payments are handled by an external payment provider. RushAudit does not receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code; we hold only your e-mail address, the state of your membership and the date it changed, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under that law, including that they are supplied with due care and skill and are fit for the purpose described here. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, which may include cancelling the membership and a refund for the unused part of a period, and in the case of a major failure a refund of the amount already paid.
Questions about a membership, an invoice or a cancellation go to desk@rushaudit.com. We answer within five business days.
No affiliation
RushAudit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Google LLC, to Google Play, or to any of the studios and publishers whose games are described on this site.
Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Intellectual property
Game titles, icons, screenshots, promotional artwork and trademarks shown on this site belong to their respective rights holders and are reproduced for the purpose of review and identification.
The editorial text, the structure of the catalogue, the layout, the styling and the RushAudit name are ours. Short quotations with a clear link back to the page they came from are welcome; wholesale copying of the write-ups is not.
If you hold rights in material shown here and want it changed or removed, write to desk@rushaudit.com and we will act on it promptly.
Links to other sites
The catalogue links to Google Play and, from time to time, to other external pages. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, their policies or their availability. Installing a game from Google Play is handled by the store and the developer under their own terms, not under ours.
Availability and disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that it will be free of errors, always reachable, or that every figure on it matches the store at the moment you read it. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly given here.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to supplying the content again.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from your reliance on anything published on it, including any consequence of installing a game described here.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at a volume that affects other readers, or use it to distribute unlawful or misleading material. We may restrict access where that happens.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site is subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the site develops; the date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms go to the editorial desk at desk@rushaudit.com.
